Eight firms bid to supervise Lot 2 of Trakiya motorway

Eight companies submitted offers for the supervision of the construction of Lot 2 (Stara Zagora - Nova Zagora) of the Trakiya motorway, the Road Infrastructure Agency announced. The tender commission will decide which of the companies meet the requirements and when the price bids will be opened. The experts must select the winner by March 20.
The project's cost has been estimated at BGN 2.5 mln and the deadline for its implementation is 27 months. The top criterion for choosing a supervisor will be the most advantageous proposal from an economic point of view, with the price bid accounting for 60% of the total evaluation.
On February 26, it was officially announced that Lot 2 of the Trakiya motorway will be constructed by the Bulgarian Magistrala Trace company which offered to build the 32-km-long section for BGN 137.8 mln.
